Abstract Guidelines

Length – No more than 300 words excluding the title, authors (maximum of 4) and their affiliations (including city and country)

Each abstract must be submitted in Word using the designated Abstract Form (Minimum font size – Arial 10). Once completed, the abstract must be emailed to Joyce Kgatlwane at University of Botswana - Muria.Group@mopipi.ub.bw.

Each abstract must include: Title, Background, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusion.

There will be a maximum of 2 abstracts for each submitting author. The submitting author will be the first quoted author in the abstract booklet. Submitting authors can though be included in other abstracts – but not as the first author.

Please indicate on the Abstract form whether you wish to:

  • Present the abstract as an oral presentation
  • Present the abstract as a poster
  • No preference, i.e. either an oral presentation or poster

Each abstract will be judged on its scientific quality and clarity by the Scientific Committee of the Conference. Their decision will be final. All submitting authors will be informed by 15 May 2015 whether their abstract has been accepted either as an oral presentation (if indicated), a poster or rejected. The timings of oral and poster presentations, together with the instructions, will be notified by the end of May 2015.
